CPW Integrative Medicine’s holistic and non-surgical approach emphasizes physical therapy in the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. Under the direction of Luke Bongiorno, PT, our therapy team is highly trained in manual therapy, including trigger point therapy and myofascial release. We treat a wide range of injuries, illnesses, and provide post-operative care.
Therapy programs at CPW Integrative Medicine are intensive and “hands-on”. CPW Integrative Medicine is not a “conveyor belt” physical therapy practice. Patients receive one-on-one attention from our therapists who employ a number of different treatments, including low-level laser (cold laser), ultrasound, muscle stimulation, TENS, neuromuscular re-education, and specific therapeutic exercises to increase strength, regain mobility, and help return patients to their pre-injury level of activity.
Our rehabilitative experts design effective treatment regimens and continually reevaluate patients to ensure that they receive targeted care. We focus on “the whole body” and strive to return patients to the highest level of function. As part of the therapeutic process, patients learn self-management techniques that they will be able to use in their daily exercise routines.
Common conditions that we see in our practice include:
- Neck and back pain
- Running/athletic injuries
- Dance injuries
- Post-surgical management
- Shoulder injuries
- Foot and ankle pain
- Tendonitis, arthritis, bursitis, sprain/strain injuries
