“The body has a natural tendency toward health and has the capacity to resist disease and to heal itself” – Tenet of Osteopathy
At CPW Integrative Medicine, we are dedicated to improving the health and function of our patients, treating the whole patient, not just the patient’s symptoms. We do this by combining two distinct practices of medicine, Physiatry (Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation) and Osteopathic Medicine.
Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is a medical specialty focusing on functional restoration of persons affected by disability. Osteopathic Medicine is defined by the American Osteopathic Association as “a complete system of medical care with a philosophy that combines the needs of the patient, the current practice of medicine, and an emphasis on the interrelationship of structure and function. Osteopaths appreciate the body’s ability to heal itself.” Both Physiatry and Osteopathic medicine take a comprehensive and holistic approach to assessing and treating a patient.
With diligence, patience, and empathy, Dr. Neely will help his patients understand their condition and provide tools and resources to better equip them in the self-management of their conditions. Dr. Neely will use a variety of treatment methods, including the latest in technology, to reduce or eliminate problems and to decrease the possibility of recurrence. This comprehensive approach produces cost-effective results and the highest level patient satisfaction.
