Luke Bongiorno directs physical therapy at CPW Integrative Medicine. Having studied physical therapy at the University of Melbourne, Australia where he received the Mastery Certification in Manual Therapy, Luke practices a “hands-on” approach to therapy that his patients seek as the highest level of care.
Luke is a clinical educator for Columbia University and the College of Staten Island Physical Therapy programs, as well as a regular speaker at the American College of Sports Medicine.
In his ten years of practice, Luke has focused on advanced manual skills, trigger point therapy, myofascial therapy, spinal stabilization, neurofascial mobilization, McKenzie Institute mechanical diagnosis and therapy, McConnell patellofemoral and shoulder treatment, and advanced taping techniques. Additionally, he is a certified as a personal trainer from the International Sports and Fitness Training Association (ISFTA).
Luke is a part of the medical team for the New York Road Runner's Club, including the NYC Marathon, and treats professional athletes, celebrities, and touring performing arts/dance companies while in New York.
